Copyright

All text, images, and characters in this site are protected by the law of Copyright.

The basic law of copyright is: When you create an original work, you obtain copyright automatically.  However...if you happen to sign your work 'Anonymous' in some instances, anyone can use it without your permission. It is advisable to use even a pen name so that you retain the copyright. As an employee, the copyright of your work belongs to the employer if it is done on the employer's time and you are paid for it.

The reason for copyright is: In the case that someone tries to steal your work or questions your ownership...it does happen.

One easy way to copyright your work: Send a copy of your work to yourself (and maybe others) by registered mail and keep it in a safe place and never open it unless it is needed.

As for me: Everything that's written on paper is saved and everything else is on disk or audio tape...the bottom line is looking out for yourself...no one else will. I make no claim to any laws beyond this as my knowledge...take good care of your own self first.
