One simple exercise that'll stir the artist inside. |

Step 1 |
Find a piece of well-used gold-veined linoleum...an
old style, once very common.
You can save and print out this jpeg for now. You may find my shark and old man. |
Step 2 |
Go into a relaxed-mind mode and explore the area...notice what shapes and/or images stand out for you simply and without trying...just gaze and let your mind be drawn into it. |
Step 3 |
Circle your find with a pencil and copy it onto paper or into an imaging program...a simple one is MS Paint that comes with Windows. |
| Step 4 | Optional...Add color and texture. I use Photoshop and Corel for my graphics. |
| Here I have highlighted the old man on the left and the shark on the right...can you see them? | |
